Our history
From one school in 2015 to a growing network.
We opened our first school in 2015, laying the groundwork for what would become ThriveEd. Our founding team and our founding values have stayed the same: to design vibrant learning communities where children grow academically, emotionally, socially and spiritually.
Today ThriveEd is a growing education group with a bold future. As we expand, our mission is clear: build a movement of schools that help every child thrive.

Matthys Maré
Co-Founder and CEO
Matthys (Matt) Maré is responsible for the group’s long-term vision, campus developments, school portfolio management and educational product development. With a background in education, engineering, private equity and fund management, Matt brings a focus on rigorous educational and business leadership, underpinned by a purpose-driven culture.
Henri Papp
Co-Founder and CFO
Henri Papp leads ThriveEd’s financial strategy, including capital planning and sustainable growth. A Chartered Accountant and experienced private equity professional who has completed Level III of the CFA program, Henri is focused on building education ventures that are financially strong and socially meaningful.
